1 D'après Taylor
et al. (
2020): "The types of
P. floribunda and
P. ardisiifolia were collected in the same area, and both match
P. carthagenensis. Jacquin apparently collected a number of his specimens along the main road inland from
Cartagena on the hill above the city near
Turbaco (H. Cuadros, pers. comm.), where
P. carthagensis is still found (C.M. Taylor, pers. obs.), and this is a scenic and convenient collecting site, so the types of
P. carthagenensis,
P. floribunda, and
P. ardisiifolia
may all be from the same locality. It is not clear, in fact, if Kunth’s
types for these two names cannot belong to the same un-numbered and
undated collection."
