Habitat : "on wood and bark of Fagus sylvatica and fungi growing on it."

Holotype : "France, Lorraine, Vosges, Col de la Schlucht, shortly after the village heading to Le Hohneck, 48°03′18″ N, 07°00′46″ E, elev. 1050 m, on mostly corticated branches of Fagus sylvatica 6–9 cm thick, on wood and bark, on/soc. stromata of Hypoxylon fragiforme, soc. Annulohypoxylon cohaerens with Polydesmia farinosa, effete Quaternaria quaternata; holomorph, anamorph pustulate, light green, 4 Sep. 2004, W. Jaklitsch & H. Voglmayr, W.J. 2676 (WU 29280, culture CBS 120632= C.P.K. 1897)."
