Description : Different from Isotoma based on its perennial habit, lithophilic habitat, expanded leaves, long pedicels, and stems not succulent. A curved ridge is present on the exterior of the corolla tube below the sinus between the upper and lower corolla lips, and paired dimples are present in the corolla throat just below the sinuses between the three lower corolla lobes.

Type : Lithotoma axillaris (Lindl.) E.B.Knox, based on Isotoma axillaris Lindl.
