Distribution : So far, Lepraria zeorinica has been known from Greenland only (Saag et al. 2007). Here it is reported for the first time in Europe from France."

Ecologie : "The specimens from France were collected on schist rich in pyrite. It is also known on bryophytes and soil, and sometimes reported from thalli of other lichens (Saag et al. 2007)."
