Description : An erect, sometimes branched, slender, thinly pubescent herb with somewhat fleshy leaves and very long lax inflorescences; flowers rich purple; whole plant usually purplish, perennating by means of the fleshy swollen stem base. Tetraploid.
Habitat: in rocky savanna.
