Taxonomie : "As shown by Blanco (2008), the name Maxillaria jenischiana, which properly refers to a red-flowered species in sect. Ornithidium, has been misapplied to the very different M. carinata in sect. Camaridium. This probably caused Szlachetko & Sitko to transfer this species to their genus Chelyella, which is a synonym of sect. Camaridium." (Schuiteman & Chase 2015).
