Distribution : Brésil (Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Sergipe, Alagoas, Pernambuco, Ceará, Maranhão, Pará [Carajas]), Guyane française, Suriname?, Guyana (basse Mazaruni), Venezuela (Anzoátegui, Guarico), Belize?? (Hinchliff & Roalson 2010, GBIF, Flora do Brasil 2020).

Statut biogéographique : A sa description, Hinchliff & Roalson (2010) indiquaient "probably occurs in Suriname and possibly French Guiana". A effectivement été découvert en Guyane française: Organabo, Anton, grande mare de bas-fond de savane, 03/04/2016, fertile. Extrêmement typique, parfaitement similaire à la description originale. G. Léotard (obs. pers.). Egalement CSG, bords de la Karouabo, 03/10/2019, G.Léotard. Probablement répandue dans les paysages de savane de la région littorale.
