Brésil, Amazonas, Panuré (rio Vaupès), in various parts, growing chiefly at open sites, such as Caatingas, borders of waterfalls etc..., 10-12/1852, fleurs. Slender brittle twiner with green obtusely 4 [-gone?] stems. Flowers white or very pale purple, crispate, exceedingly fragile. R.
