Taxonomie : Les éléments du protologue suggèrent qu'il pourrait s'agir du nom prioritaire pour le taxon actuellement nommé Notylia peruviana (Schltr.) C.Schweinf. 1946 (dans les Guyanes au moins).

Type : "The flowers of this are not more than half the size of the smallest of the others; they are pale green with a yellowish lip, and the petals have no spots. Obtained from Demerara by Messrs. Loddiges." [protologue].
