Distribution : Guyana (Potaro-Siparuni) et Suriname (monts Wilhelmina).

Statut biogéographique : D'après Delprete 2015: "Several collections of this species [Neobertiera glomerata Delprete 2015] from French Guiana have been previously identified as "Neobertiera gracilis", but they actually belong to N. glomerata. Neobertiera gracilis has never been collected in French Guiana."

Type : "British Guiana, Macouria river (not far West of Cayenne), Jenman 2388." [protologue].

Comme noté par Delprete (2015), dans le protologue Wernham confond la Macouria river du Guyana avec la rivière Macouria de Guyane française!
