Distribution : Amazonie brésilienne (Amapá, Pará, Amazonas), Guyana et sud du Venezuela (Delprete & Kirkbride 2016, sub P. adolfoduckei). D'après Delprete & Lachenaud (2018), seulement: "Amazonian Brazil (Amapá, Pará, Amazonas)".

Statut biogéographique : D'après Delprete & Lachenaud (2018): "Steyermark (1972) recorded this species from French Guiana, but the specimen he cited, Geay s.n. (P03943887), was instead collected in the contiguous Brazilian state of Amapá. No collections of Palicourea spectabilis from French Guiana have been seen by the authors."
