Matériel type : Rapa, holotype and one paratype, apparently both females, one collected on the south slope of Mount Perahu, altitude 600-1,000 ft., July 13, 1934, by E. C. Zimmerman; the second on the northeast slope of Mount Tevaitahu, altitude 700-800 ft., July 8, 1934, E. C. Zimmerman, both from Dodonaea.
