Matériel type : Society Islands: Moorea, two specimens, holotype and paratype, presumably males, collected on the north ridge of Mount Teaharoa
at an elevation of 2,000 ft., Sept. 25, 1934, by E. C. Zimmerman and Donald Anderson, both taken from fronds of Angiopteris.
