Basionyme : Nom nouveau illégitime et superflu pour Corytholobium macrophyllum Benth. 1837 dans le genre Securidaca L. 1759. Même en considérant que Securidaca macrophylla n'était pas disponible [cf. S. macrophylla (Benth) Walp. 1842, comb. inval.!], l'épithète de Monnina calophylla Poepp. 1845, également citée en synonymie, était disponible.
