Type : Guyana, monts Pakaraima, upper Mazaruni River, Kamarang Station, rare to occasional in Morubukea forest, 500 m, 26/10/1951, fleurs. Tree 3 m. Buds purple; fls white. B. Maguire & D.B. Fanshawe 32329 (HT: NY00131337; IT: NY00131338).
