Taxonomie : Inga longipedunculata Ducke 1922 est traité comme un synonyme de
Inga leiocalycina Benth. 1845 par Pennington (1997). Ces deux noms sont relégués à la synonymie de
Inga laevigata M.Martens & Galeotti 1843 par le
GBIF, mais traités comme deux bonnes espèces présentes en Guyane française par Poncy (
in Barneby
et al. 2011) et par Molino
et al. (2022). D'après Poncy (
in Barneby
et al. 2011): "Pennington (1997) proposed changes in the taxonomy of the
Inga punctata group (including
I. leiocalycina,
I. stenoptera,
I. longipedunculata and their synonyms). Based on the knowledge of the Guianese materials, and after a re-examination of the type specimens, the distinction between
I. longipedunculata and
I. leiocalycina is maintained here."
