Distribution en Polynésie française : Marquises, Nukuhiva.

Etymologie : "The epithet is indeclinable as it is taken from the name of a central plateau of Nuku Hiva with an average altitude of 800 m. The area is currently known as the Toovii Plateau, but the original spelling of the epithet should not be changed."
