Orthographe : Orthographe fréquemment altérée en "Killingia", "Killyngia", "Kylinga", "Kylingia", "Kyllingia" orth. var. (voir Huygh et al. 2010).

Type : Typ. cons.: Kyllinga nemoralis (J.R.Forst. & G.Forst.) Dandy ex Hutch. & Dalziel 1936 [≡ Thryocephalon nemorale J.R.Forst. & G.Forst. 1775; = Cyperus mindorensis (Steud.) Huygh 2014] (Tahiti).
