D'après C.M. Taylor (2011, in Tropicos): "Protologue intended to use the name Ouragoga L., 1737, but inadvertently published a new genus name and included as synonyms (p. 335) 42 genera that were previously published, making Baillon's name illeg. Name Uragoga used by Baillon in binomials prior to what is accepted as the publication of the genus name."
