Nomenclature : nom. illeg. superfl. Name originally published to replace Cleistogenes Keng which is a name coincident with a technical term; confirmed in Taxon 43: 123 (1994). However, Art. 20.2 of the Vienna Code retroactively permits the formation of names based on non-Latin terms, and, thereby, validates Cleistogenes and retroactively makes Kengia illegitimate and superfluous.
