Validité : The diagnosis of the name Ophrys lutea Cav. subsp. subfusca (Rchb.) Murbeck is not applicable to Ophrys murbeckii because that is a nomen confusum based on different two taxa from Algeria and Tunisia, namely Ophrys lutea var. subfusca Rchb. and Ophrys battandieri E.G. Camus, P. Bergon & A. Camus.
