Holotype : "LA RÉUNION. NW of St. Philippe, Réserve Naturelle de Mare Lounge, Sentier botanique, rather dark tropical rainforest with tall trees, on trunk with 12 cm diameter, 240 m, 21°20.6′S, 55°44.8′E, 03.vi.2008, van den Boom 40583 (holotype: LG; isotype: hb van den Boom)."
